And that’s a wrap! What did you think of Sarah's latest show? Reading through many of your comments on Alicia's Discuss posts, I can see that there was very little fence-sitting -- lots of passion, one way or another.
I will tell you this: Sarah Richardson is a smooth operator. I have been a devoted stalker (professionally, for the record) of her work, and I can honesty say that I have never seen that woman shaken. It's precisely this confidence that allows her to try out new designs and decor products such as the striking blue and orange scheme in "Sophisto-Nursery" or the divisive light-box art you all got so worked up about in "Contemporary Living". In the end, I think we can all agree that pushing the boundaries a little is what makes for great design TV!
But Sarah is also a fountain of practical tips, and along with Tommy Smythe is always at the ready with easy takeaway suggestions to my never ending stream of questions.
Alicia and I paid a visit to the "City Chic Condo" featured in Tuesday's finale, right as Sarah and the team were setting up for reveal. Some of what we were able to capture has already been posted, but there's more! So much more!
Below are links to Part 1 & 2 of my interview with Sarah as well as Part 1 & 2 of my interview with Tommy, and an additional two peppy little segments including Sarah's Tips for a DIY gallery wall and a behind-the-scenes look at what staging for reveal day is really like with those two! (My fave video of all.)
