Milk crates in various colours, $9.99 USD, The Container Store
Ah, the dorm days of university -- wait, let me correct that -- the concrete box basement-dwelling days. I never lived in residence because the first school I attended had dorms far from downtown, then I transferred schools mid-first year and had to find shelter, fast. Enter the concrete box basement. The one thing I remember requiring the most was storage. Somewhere along the way I acquired several dorm room classics that were definitely the most useful items in my space (besides my ancient laptop) - the milk crate.
My nostalgic heart skipped a beat when I stumbled upon these colourful crates from one of my favourite stores to hit up when I'm in the States -- The Container Store. So I'm pretty excited that they now ship to Canada! These crates are authentic dairy style, straight from the original manufacturer and made of high-density polyethlene, so they'll last. In fact, I still use mine for recycling bins to this day.
