While I long for a cozy fireplace to call my own, I do enjoy a good candle pseudo-fire. Sure, using a lighter from the dollar store works, but when I spied these long-stem matches by Abbott at Kitchen Stuff Plus for only $4, I picked up four. Each pack contains 50 matches for lighting those burnt-down-but-not-out pillars (they always seem to melt themselves down to an unlightable concave), BBQs if you're an all-season griller and fireplaces for the lucky. The fact that they're super-cute and festive doesn't hurt either!
