Sorry for the late discuss post! That West Village townhouse from episode 3 was insane, right? That's the kind of blank slate space that just cries out for a large budget and lofty dreams. The client wanted something to make the space more livable because he planned to sell it so Bob and Cortney spruced up the large living section and threw an open house party to encourage potential buyers.
What did you think of that large scale artwork? I was more into the planter than the Pleasure Dome text art, personally.
The floor was painted, chandeliers hung, garlands strung, bright green
furniture purchased and floral arrangement re-potted -- and the party
was a success!
Episode 4 brought Bob and Cortney to Hoboken, New Jersey to add some -- any -- style to the home of two busy bachelors. Cortney's disgust at their frat boy couch cracked me up, but Bob fondly remembered his own college days, lol.
Are you getting the impression that the Novogratzes love textual art? I linked the lunch sign -- what did you think?
I'm also envious of that painted piano and floor model Kartell table! Buying the floor model and asking for a discount is a great shopping tip.
Here's some exciting news: I'm going to be interviewing Bob and Cortney at their home in New York next week! I'll be bringing you exclusive interviews, tips and a sneak peak at their gorgeous home.
What did you think of this week's episodes? Let's chat in the comments!
