Don't Stop Decorating! Holiday Decor Ideas for Every Nook and Cranny

The tree is finally up and I am still in the mood. The holidays are always a great excuse to carry on the festive cheer and find other nooks in your home to dress up. All my holiday decor holds so many memories from Christmases past, that I just can't bring myself to pack away the leftover ornaments, garlands and strings of lights. So here are a few fresh and inspiring places where your decorations can continue to shine.

The Bedroom

Daily Dream Decor

Why not add some holiday sparkle by using your leftover decorative accents in your bedroom. Get creative and line them along your headboard and light up some holiday scented candles to spread the season throughout the house.

The Dining Room

Daily Dream Decor

A chandelier is a ready-made centrepiece that you don't have to move off the table. Decorated it with greenery and hang it with ornaments and lights to set the festive mood for dinner with your family and friends. If you don't want to disturb your chandelier or don't have one, you can fasten a holiday wreath to whatever the light fixture.

Door Frames

The door frame is a perfect place for a garland. Drape it with a garland of fir that you can decorate, and even add your mounting collection of holiday cards!

Windowsills

Emma’s Design Blogg

Have your windowsill set the tone. Create a fun vignette and let all the passerbys experience and share in your decor.

Outdoors

Atlanta Homes Magazine

Outdoor decor doesn’t always have to be all about reindeer and snowmen. Spread the joy by adding simple and elegant touches to the exterior of your home.

These are five of my favorites spots to decorate for the holidays, what are yours?
