Now that we've made it past the fist day of school, met our classmates, marked up that new notepad and dulled that freshly sharpened pencil, it's time to hit the books! Grace Bonney from Design*Sponge and Holly Becker from Decor8 are two
extremely talented design bloggers. I couldn’t be any more excited to
see that they’ve now compiled all of their knowledge and passion for
design in their very own books. If these were the books I had been given in school, I would have had my head buried in them for the entire term. With so many beautiful images, creative tutorials and how-tos, studying would have been a breeze.

In Grace’s book you'll find:
- Home tours: we all love to snoop in other people’s homes, and this book gives you the chance to explore over 65 of the very best!
- Before & afters: who doesn’t love a good “Before & After”? There are plenty in Grace’s book to enjoy and be inspired by.
- DIY, crafts, floral arranging: so many tips, tricks and techniques to keep you busy and your house looking fabulous.
- Shopping lists: to boot, Grace has pulled from thousands of her own resources in order to curate for us a detailed and focused list of the top places to shop on and off line.

In Holly’s book you'll find:
- Some very sound advice: Jonathan Adler, Kelly Hoppen, Amy Neunsinger, Rita Konig, Amy Butler and Abigail Ahern are but a few of the experts who share their passion and knowledge about decorating in Holly’s book.
- Tools of the trade: with floor plans, checklists, line drawings and great photography, Holly and her team of industry experts show us how to decorate and transform our homes the right way.
- International appeal: there’s a lot to pull from. With featured homes from around the globe, styles running the gamut makes this book a goldmine for inspiring design ideas.
- A visual guide: with four very specific sections (Space Matters, Setting Your Style, Room by Room, Attention to Detail) Holly has made it simple for us to learn all there is to know about how to achieve the look we’ve always wanted.
My head is now officially in the clouds after swooning over such gorgeous imagery!
