Keeping a kid's room organized may seem like a bit of a pipe dream for some parents, but when you do get your kids to pick up the toys and clothes laying around, there’s got to be a place to put them all.
The good intentions of closet organizers don’t always do the trick. Instead, re-use items from around the house and find space under the bed, behind doors, and in other nooks of your kid’s room. For example, if you’ve got an old dresser that’s falling apart, salvage a few of the drawers, add some casters and you’ve got instant (and cheap!) under-bed storage.

- Hanging mesh organizers: tuck these behind a door to catch small plastic toys and cars
- Reuse old wipes tubs for crayons, markers, and other art supplies
