Question/Quiz of the Week: Swan Beds -- Crazy or Awesome? And a Giveaway!

I have no logical reason for bringing swan beds -- beds shaped like swans -- to your attention today, other than I saw one while surfing the internet and knew I had to investigate.

1.

A historic theme room! Is this 18th or 19th century?

Are they awesome? Or super weird/creepy/ego-maniacal? I cannot decide. I know however that my little girl would love one, and perhaps the child within is what forced my hand to post this for you today... (Though these swan beds are billed more as 'romantic' rather than child fantasy -- two of them, anyway -- and one is the fantasy of an infantilized grownup...)

2.

This of course is a movie set, but that bed is real! The lid lowers to create a swan-cocoon, and glows softly from within. Do you know to which movie this imaginative set belongs?

3.

A bed befitting a starlet -- can you name the bed's iconic lounger?

Giveaway: Can you tell me something about these three swan beds? I've a book to give you if you muster up some truthiness about each of the above.

The book is Homemade: Gorgeous Things to Make with Love, because you know, swans are a symbol of love -- they mate for life. See the questions below each photo and email your answers to stylesheetAThgtvDOTca.  (Please see contest rules.)
