Discuss: Summer Home, Ep. 7 Parental Unit

Welcome to a new week, Summer Home fans! Designer Karen Sealy tackled her own summer home in this episode, transforming an old bunkie into a retreat for her parents. What a good daughter, right?

The cozy little suite was inspired by the Sealy family's love of sailing. Isn't that suspended table a great idea? Eat your breakfast in bed and then hoist it up later for sleeping.

Excellent show every week, I love it! You always create a beautiful space working with what is already there and what is needed to make it spectacular. I admit I'm a little biased since I have an affinity to your Design Assistant, Andrea but I would watch anyway.

The use of layers and rich tones and innovative takes on old standard forms in common living spaces blows me away. Love the show!!!! It's what I look forward to every Sunday.

This show is like the best postcard ever, I find myself thinking over and over, "I wish I was there!"  I expect the unexpected from Karen's design solutions -- somehow she makes quantum leaps in creativity and yet the results are still so liveable.

OMG ... These decorations/designs are beyond ridiculous and ugly for a cottage.  This person clearly has no idea about the soul of a cottage.  Get this off the air and stop embarrassing yourselves.
