I was wondering what is the optimal size for a powder room?

My biggest struggle right now

Is trying to choose a paint color. Our house is mainly blues, grays, and a "toasty grey" which is toupe!

I want to keep the bathroom light and spa like! Any suggestions??? Pls.

I get the keys to my new condo penthouse in a few weeks.  I'd like to enlarge and rennovate the master bathroom (preferably before I move all my stuff in!), but I'm having difficulty finding a condo bathroom contractor, never mind one that might be affordable.  Do you know where I can find one?  Cheers

We have a dilemma and would appreciate any insight when it comes to remodeling our bathroom.  We just bought and moved into our home last month (hasn't been touched since it 1980). There are two bathrooms with one having entry from the hallway and the "master" bedroom - with a pocket door. Right now it has a toilet, tub with shower and double vanity but we would love to do a separate shower and tub but don't have the room with the pocket door. So what is most important when considering resale (albeit that isn't in our future):

a. access from the master bedroom

b. single sink with separate shower and tub

c. double vanity with tub and shower combo

d. no access from the master, double vanity, separate tub and shower

Any comments are appreciated!
