Quiz: Which of These 3 Finds is NOT a Real Upcycle? Win Tix to National Home Show!

Still not really sure what Upcycling means? Upcycling: converting discarded and/or unwanted objects into different objects with a new function.  Basically, things that start out as one thing and end up as another, thanks to a some very creative people.

Today, for your guessing pleasure, I present three items in the spirit of upcycling. One of these objects is a reproduction. It may have stemmed from an upcycling idea, but this said object started out exactly as you see it in the photo, while two of these have had previous lives.  Which of the following three items is NOT a true upcycle?

A)

B)

C)

Email me at stylesheetAThgtvDOTca with the correct answer and you could win two tickets to the National Home show in Toronto!  If you're one of the first to email with the answer and are not in Toronto, you have the choice of accepting some great HGTV.ca SWAG.  Please see contest rules.

My answer would be the Pendant lights.  They don't seem like a true recycleable.

Tried to enter the contest at stylesheet@hgtvdot.ca but got an undeliverable email back.  Is this not the right email?

HI Natashy, take out the 'dot' immediately following HGTV. We spell out the period of .ca for spam issues.

Will I get an email back even if I didn't win?

My guess is the shelving unit. Seems like something that would be quite easy to do with the right shop tools.
