Happy Saturday, Style Sheet readers! Did you know that people are sending 90 million Tweets every day? That's amazing! If you're not on Twitter, it can seem strange and over-share-y (why does anyone need to know what I'm doing or thinking?). The thing is, Twitter is a great venue for sharing in general -- you find interesting links you'd never see otherwise, get an insider's view on the thoughts of people you admire (whether that's House Beautiful or Conan O'Brien), and connect with people you'd wouldn't usually have the opportunity to meet.
One Twitter story I love is how a woman eating at a restaurant chain Tweeted that she was loving her meal there. The corporate office was monitoring their Twitter feed, found out which location she was at and a waiter came to her table to tell her the meal was free!
