I'm not sure when my obsession with
birds and
butterflies began. Probably the same age as my daughter---now coming up on three. She loves them too and simply states it because we are girls. It makes me smile, and this
craft day project did, too.
Out to the woods, garden or park (because a branch may have fallen) to find the perfect branch; to the craft store or dollar store for birds and butterflies.
Then simply attach them. Butterflies can be hot glued and birds almost always come with wire on their feet, which is easily wrapped around the branch. Do not adjust your screen, he is meant to be upside down!
My method of holding the branch is rather archaic, but it works. Yes, it's a giant rock in a glass vase.
And there you have a very happy branch, guaranteed to make you smile.
We put our project on the side table in the dining room.
