Everyone has their own idea of outdoor vacationing (which is the blanket term I'm going to use for going to the cottage, lake, camp, cabin, etc. -- I do love how regional the term is!). Whether you're sleeping in a tent or a bunkie, eating under the stars or in a gourmet kitchen (lucky!), we want to know what you can't live without. Is it a homemade quilt for chilly nights, the beach blanket you've been laying on since childhood, your favourite pancake recipe?
Personally, my must-haves include a pair of beat up, fringed suede ankle boots that are great for mosquito protection (they love ankle meat, no?) and traipsing through rainy-day mud, my trusty, though aged, sleeping bag and, yes, a bottle (or two) of Prosecco. It might seem indulgent, but at my annual ladies cottage weekend, we always start by popping a bottle and toasting the lazy days ahead. (I won't regale you with stories of the time we brought a case of Prosecco...)
So what say you, Style Sheet readers? What do you require for an outdoor vacation?
