Once upon a time there was a cute iron bench. Cute iron bench had a
woven seat, but it wore through. Cute iron bench was forgotten about.
It even caught on fire during a small but overzealous marshmallow roast.
Cute bench meet old wicker table. This belonged to my grandmother, so for very sentimental reasons it has stayed nearby. For 25 years. Well, after all these years, it's time for a makeover!
Enter husband with heavy duty sand paper. I simply can't sand anything. The sound makes my skin crawl.
Enter me with a very cute shade of Tiffany blue spray paint from Canadian Tire for the bench. Simple glossy white for the table. 
Enter the happy new couple. Pretty iron bench meet freshened up wicker table. Such happiness!
The shoes are off. The magazines are gathered. Refreshing beverage is in place.
Did you really think I would get to enjoy this?
My drink is now a finger bowl.
My flowers have become toys.
But there is still happiness here...and I'll be back.
