Our trip to Vegas this past winter just keeps on giving! We spent five days at World Market Center Las Vegas, one of North America's largest trade show facilities for home furnishings, and I'm not gonna lie: we felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland. From the sprawling scale of the space and even some of the furnishings (Americans do like things big), to the glamorous celebrity designers, our eyeballs were doing overtime trying to take it all in.
And then there was Kathy Ireland (I've already had several co-workers confess their crushes). The ex-model and fitness star rivals Martha Stewart as lifestyle magnate, having been in the business of home-related products for nearly 20 years now (in 1993, she started by putting her name on a line of socks.) Her eponymous line of products occupied over 10 showrooms at Las Vegas Market, and we actually chased her down (if only to have a look!)
