Video: Glen Peloso Talks Practical Design, Colour Trends and Common Mistakes!

We're adding formidable designer Glen Peloso to our Design Dilemma epic! We'll see if we could keep Scott McGillivray for as long as possible, but why not keep the advice flowing with a little wisdom from the Restaurant Makeover alumnus?

To get a feel for his style, I paid a little visit to Glen Peloso's perfectly put-together home, to get his word on popular questions that arise on the blog. And I implore you to listen to what he says. I don't think we've ever been graced with such meaty, practical and detailed answers from which we all can take cue.

In the weeks to come we'll be rolling out Glen's advice on everything from window covering, hallway treatments, kitchen cabinetry and more, but for now, here are some design basics we can all live by...
