I used to have a cupboard full of mismatched plates, now I just have a few sets of hand-me-downs. All I really want to eat off is a nice set of matching dishware. But, I still love dishes and can't resist picking up something pretty.
So, why not put them on the wall? I may want to eat off a uniform set of white dinnerware, but there's no reason I can't add a little dimension to my walls, right?
Yesterday, I was walking around at lunch and wandered into Anthropologie for fun. They had these plates (above, left) on sale for $10 each. They were originally $24 each so it was a real bargain. I love how multi-coloured and graphic they are. I can't wait to find a shelf or wall to display them (I bought two).

What do you think? Would you hang plates as art in your space?
