We're gearing up to share our World Market Center Las Vegas Madness! This past February, the team -- Jessica (of Bargain Saturday fame), Mia and myself -- had the pleasure of tearing through one of North America's biggest furniture markets in Las Vegas, Nevada. The World Market Center Las Vegas is quite the epic facility with millions (literally) of square feet of permanent and temporary showrooms, as well as a wealth of resources for the furnishings industry.
While there, we caught up with two of the guest speakers invited to enlighten the biz on trends 2010. The guest speakers happened to be the LA correspondents for none other than ApartmentTherapy.com, HGTV.ca's secret guilty pleasure (because none of us should be reading anything other than Style Sheet for online decor :)
I had a nice chat with the Rebecca Orlov and Abby Stone after their presentation, and lo and behold, they underlined everything that we've been touting here on the blog with regard to trends! Turquoise, natural wood, knits and even doilies! Sometimes it's nice to get some affirmation from your peers...
