Unlike my super design savvy counterpart Elana, I must declare my ignorance in the art of decor selection. With that being said Sarah Richardson is so amazing, she draws me in every week. This season is infectious--I can now eye a good tub in a scrap yard by scoping out which has the least rust.
Even in the midst of indecision, there is just no stopping her grand ideas, impeccable taste and drive to dominate a room. Will it be green or yellow in the kitchen? I can't wait to see and I know you can't either. Sarah takes on the feeding room tonight at 9:00pm and I'll be there to chat up every detail.
Episode 4, "Kitchen": Creating a cook’s kitchen from a hodge podge of smaller rooms. Sarah faces confusing flow, uneven floors and low hung windows to make this space the home’s epicenter. Big box cabinetry gets a splash of country color, and is artfully mixed with period and modern task lighting and other accents. It’s Sarah’s take on country living!
