*Tear* I can't believe it's over!!!! Thank god we've got the whole season in our video centre, so that I can revisit my favourite Rod and Nat moments such as when Rod makes Melissa the designer cry. OK, that's not really my favourite moment, but it made me laugh. (Melissa is one tough cookie, btw -- she laughs at it too!)
How cute is that baby room!?!? LOVE the green, love the dark wood, love that custom-made mobile by Melissa's friend in New York, and LOVE how Melissa painted that tree mural. That baby is going to grow up a little feral wild child in all that nature-themed cuteness... Side bar: site manager Mia and I (fellow moms) were talking, and we give them one week before they replace that cute, green garbage bin with a decidedly less cool Diaper Genie. The stench of poopy diapers will quickly school them.
Speaking of mom-rodery, camera guy Earl sneak-filmed me giving Nat some unsolicited advice on giving birth. I KNOW I'm not the only proud first-time-mom to push her hard-earned wisdom on a pregnant lady, but still, Earl didn't need to shame me by capturing it on film. It's funny to see me get all veteran about it though, so I threw it in after the credits.
AND, who wants to see more photos of their baby girl???? Well you got it! Watch the vid for Abbey's second HGTV.ca appearance! Yes, her name is Abigail, despite the fact that they said they were going to name her Sadie.
