When the weather starts getting warmer most of us put the coats in
the closet, bring out brighter colours and shed the weight of
winter. Unless you're packing up to head to the second house in a warmer
climate, changing small sections in your home is the closest you get to
bringing the spring season inside. Below, some of our Flickr Group members
share how they chose to lighten up their decor along with their spirits.
Spring on a Plate

On the left, kimhas7cats
starts in the kitchen. These bright pastel dishes are a fun
start to any day. On the right, merfam
extends his Louisville sunshine to these bowls -- some
waffles served on a burnt orange plate could be the perfect
accent to an early sun room or veranda breakfast spread.
Flowers
and Vessels

Of course Sandy
knows there is nothing easier and more effective than grouping some
colorful vases together to house the essence of spring-fresh flowers
(left). Or maybe it's back to the basics with just a clean white vase
and a touch of fresh lavender like MandCo,
on the right.
Bed Spring(s) :)

On the left, Niesz
Vintage Fabric softened up the walls with butter yellow, crisp
white furniture and vintage floral fabric that is tastefully carried
over to the corner shelf. On its own, the bed might be complemented by emma_louise's
handmade quilt (right) -- so sweet. The original tree design is
surrounded by color and texture, the perfect show piece for a guest bedroom.
