Live Blogging Tonight: Marriage Under Construction, Episode 12

Episode 12: It's the second to last episode and I'm a little sad that we'll have to say goodbye to Rod and Nat soon. Looking on the bright side, tonight's episode promises to be eventful. Nat is only a month away from making Rod a daddy and the couple meet up with their doula for some important baby-birthing info. And of course, there's the actual home renos. The kitchen is underway but knowing it's like the most important room in the house, particularly for Rod, I'm kind of nervous about the final reveal. Will it be worthy of a chef?

Also, stay tuned after the epi as Elana's back with another behind-the-scenes video exclusive featuring our favourite couple.  Watch Rod's confession about his chef-ey demands of the kitchen, and a little extra comedy to boot!

Join me tonight at 9pm for our live blog simply by clicking on "Make a Comment" in the window below (which will appear as soon as the episode starts) and make sure to check out last week's chat. And follow some of our comments from tonight's session on Twitter @hgtvcanada.  See you tonight!

Does anyone know the name and location of the Antique Barn where Rod purchased the reclaimed wood for the floating shelves in the kitchen?

Steve was on holiday while the kitchen was being completed. It was booked months ago, and we were all super jealous, but he had to go.

We had to call in reinforcements to keep us on schedule.  Matt is a contractor I use often, and has an incredible team of finishing carpenters that completed the kitchen.  The team effort produced an amazing space.  Sorry you missed Steve in this one Cindy, he'll be back next week.

I thought Matt was fantastic in all capacities.  Let's all be positive!
