Even though I didn't love the Closing Ceremonies for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, I am going to miss the whole thing very much. I really got into it this year and was yelling my head off in red-faced, rabid patriotism when we won that gold medal in men's hockey.
I also think Vancouver did a great job hosting. I wasn't there during the games but by all accounts, the experience was overwhelmingly positive -- it sure looked fun all the way from Snoronto...
But we didn't just hang our hands at our sides. My foodnetwork.ca pal, CJ, and I, did a little preemptive traveling to the friendly city, so that we could bring you a spotlight on all things Vancouver food and design throughout the winter games. Thus we made our own fun here in Olympics-bereft Ontario, and as a bitter-sweet send-off, here's a summary of the fine establishments we profiled here on Style Sheet;
