When researching these Splurge vs. Steal posts, I'm often amazed at how much alike two products can be at such different price points. Take the above chandeliers: they're both clean-lined, rectangular hanging lights with fabric shades, approximately the same size and colour. Both would compliment a neutral kitchen or dining room by blending in and allowing another element of the room to be the star, whether it's a rough-hewn wooden table, an eye-catching work of art or a gorgeous view. Would you be able to tell which one costs more?
