Live Blogging Event Tonight: Holmes Inspection, Episode 12

Last week Mia kicked off the two-parter, "A Hole Lot of History", featuring a trendy historical home rife with issues.  Tonight at 8pm ET/PTPart 2: the resolution.  By the looks of what happened last week, I'm afraid Mike's got his work cut out for him.  Not only is the trendy historic home in question, but the neighbours' home too?  Poor Fred and Sarah have been living out of their first-home-disaster for weeks now (mould, bad foundation, leaky roof, shoddy plumbing) -- can Mike and the super crew  bring them back?

Join me and the community to gawk at other people's problems from the safety of our cozy and sound living rooms (I believe the term is schadenfreude -- taking pleasure in others misfortune. Oh don't feel guilty, Mike and Damon always make it better.)  To make a comment simply click "Make a comment" at the top of the dialogue box (appears when show starts) posted below, as we watch. Or, you can log in to your Twitter account and send us a tweet (@hgtvcanada). Looking forward to seeing you all there!

I feel so sorry for this couple! Just starting out, and such a lot of work to their house!  It's got to be at least 100k worth of work.

Question:  W hen people participate in Holmes on Holmes like this couple, do they have to pay for all the work?

Hi Kate, yes, the homeowners pay for much of the reno.  Mike and the team pull in  a lot of favours, but there is a significant expense on the part of the owners.
