Live Blogging Holmes Inspection Episode 8: Join Us Tonight!

Live Blogging time! I'm back this week to watch and dish about Holmes Inspection tonight at 8pm EST. Last week we had a great crew, lots of discussion. Check out what we had to say!

On tonight's episode, Tricia and Mike’s home inspector told them the house they wanted to buy was worth an eight out of ten. (Cue foreboding music...) Young and enthusiastic, they bought it. When the pipes in their main floor laundry room froze and the drain backed up, they called Mike Holmes. Of course, his Holmes Inspection brought them a few more unpleasant surprises.

Another great episode. Man what seemed to be a fairly easy fix ended up a huge job. Rewiring the house how much is that and the siding?!?!?

I wish I had Mike when I bought my home.  So far I'm 50K+ down for repairs that an inspection should have found.  I still have the report and am shocked about how much he missed.

I was a big fan of Mike Holmes, until I needed a helping hand because of another bad home inspector. Things are really bad with the house and I needed help but all I got was a generic letter from the staff. It was computer generated with no compassion. I have a restraining order from my last relationship. This man left me afraid for my life, and my two little dogs.The problems in the house were  unhealthy but we are in dire straights. I was willing to take a chance on my being found because I need help that bad. The furnace guy say we have asbestos in the house tiles. It just seems to go no on.

At one time I would l would have been really happy to see Mike Holmes. It took me 3 pages to get explain everything an still felt it was wise to

e-mail. I just thought there could have been in some compassion.
