Question of the Week: How Do You Decorate For Halloween? (and a tour!)

While up on another floor one day, I was struck by the black and purple Halloween decor exploding from the cubicle (or pod as we call them around here, rather sci-fi-sounding, I think) of Kim Stringer. Of course, I had to ask her some questions (Why purple? Her answer surprised me!) and get the grand tour.

Are you a Halloween fiend? How do you decorate for Halloween? (and what happened to that weird apostrophe, in Hallowe'en?)

Um, people? Is nobody excited enough to share what they're doing this year?  Okie....  At work I'm a bit of a hater when it comes to decorating pods, but my hat off to the woman above - she's an inspiration. At home, my husband likes to keep us guessing.  He thinks on it while the rest of us - well, me and my two year old - procrastinate, and then he takes they day off and when I come home from work, there's a full production on our front porch.  Will let you know what he does this year.

Exciting! A "full production" sounds blog-worthy.

I LOVE decorating for Halloween but have been very discouraged by it since I moved into my town house. The complex I live in is high on yuppies, low on kiddies. That means all my decorating goes to waste and I'm left sulking on the couch with 8 bags of mini-chocolate bars. So until I buy and move into a "real" house (sometime next year for sure) I'm jetting off to the 'burbs to spend Halloween with my bestie and her babe.

Thanks Elana....after reading a bit about you and checking out your blogs...your comment gave me a real personal boost...that I could make an impression on you means a lot to me.

Aw!  What a nice thing to say Kim.  We may have to visit you again come Xmas time.

Kim, I love your cubicle so much. Halloween and Christmas are my favorite Holidays, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is one of my top movies, and Bleeding Edge Goths are my biggest collection and my most favorite and most beautiful toys ever. Wonderful job!
