Bargain Saturday: Style Sheet Reader Shows Off Guest Bedroom Fabric Bargain

A few weeks back, I blogged about my favourite little dollar store boxes and asked you to share your bargain design finds. And you did! This week, Angie B. from London, Ontario shows us what she did with some bargain fabric in her guest bedroom. Take a look:

In Angie's words: I too share your obsession for little decorator boxes that can be found around, but I found the absolutely perfect box at HomeSense for $4.00 (above: top, right)!

When I was trying to decorate our guest room, I knew what I wanted: red toile with a cream-coloured background. I could not find it anywhere. I did, however, find the fabric that I was looking for and decided that I could make all of the necessary pieces. The fabric was on sale (50% off), so I purchased all of the fabric and embellishments I needed to make:

  • Duvet cover
  • All pillow shams and matching pillows
  • Window blind
  • Chair pad and bench cover

Thought I needed to share this with you and let you know that the dollar stores are not the only place you can find bargains.

Thanks, Angie!

Do you have any super cheap design finds in your home? Please send us a picture that we can post here! If you've got something you'd love to share with us, email stylesheet (@) hgtv (.) ca, or if you've got a flickr account, drop a picture in our Style Sheet photo group.

I was justified reading a assuredly question on how to place your down comforter all fluffy again and practically all the answers said that you can relate fool someone some tennis balls in the dryer to write that happen. how to frame a tennis ball mortarSo how does that work exactly? Why does this happen? Can you throw away something else less than tennis balls? Appreciation you!
