Splurge Vs. Steal: Statement Making Mirrors

A big mirror hung at eye level might be a sign of vanity but a big mirror with a bold frame shows that you hide your penchant for looking-glass gazing behind a dash of style. This installment of Splurge Vs. Steal is so amazing (if I do say so myself) because the mirrors are close to identical: dark wood frames and about 70 cm square. The Zebrano Mirror on the left, from Crate & Barrel is made of Zebrano wood and hand-crafted with tongue-and-groove joinery, whereas the version from Kitchen Stuff Plus is a bit more basic (with a bevel!), but with a difference of almost $250 in price, who's to complain?

Comments:

So glad 'Splurge Vs Steal' is part of this website.    Just proves;  the price tag doesn't always have to  dictate good taste.
