Hi Sandra, you are  fantastic when it comes to making a deal I never miss your program. How I wish you were in Montreal we are planning to buy a house and we are first time buyers.  We really need your help, could you please tell us where to start or if you have agents in Montreal who could help us find the right house with the right price, there are several agents in Montreal but we need someone like you to help us with your expertise.

Hi Sandra! I am astonished to see the prices people are paying for homes in the GTA.  Most of the homes that you showcase on your show, Property Virgins, are not worth half as much as the asking price.  It is market prices like those in your area that make people across this country think it is ok to spend rediculous amounts of money on a new home, maybe their first home.

I really wish that people would get with the times, and smarten up about home prices.  High home prices are the reason why the economy has gone the way it has gone.  People want to live in a comfortable home, and going into huge huge debt seems to be the only way to attain that.  This should not be the case.  Your show should put more pressure on trying to lower the market value.  Realtors are getting way to greedy, and this is contributing to the over-all destruction of Families, and causing the loss of their homes which they worked so hard to try to maintain and pay for.

And on a side note, when you are showing older homes, that do not have closets in the bedrooms, that is because they are poor quality, and the buyer's should demand to have closets.  I live in an 87 year old house, and every room has a closet.  Buyers should get more for their money, not a barn costing $400,000.

I am a Realtor in Calgary, and after watching so many of Sandra's shows, she operates the same way I do, and so many other Realtors...with information, sound objective views, and helping the buyers decide what they really want. We work hard for our money, give up our personal time to make sure our clients' needs are met, and love what we do. I love my job, and my clients end up as friends when the "job" is done. Using a Realtor who is a good fit for you is the best thing you can do to make your purchase or sale as easy as it can be.It isn't only about the commission, but the service provided.

I enjoying watching your show, and your straight forward, honest sense of dealing with potential home buyers. The point in which I disagree with you, is on what the home buyers can afford. If they have been approved for $350,000, but they only feel comfortable with the payments on a home in the $250,000-$275,000 range why do you always push them, and show only closer to what you want them to spend?  Knowing that of course they will love the larger or a more updated home, at the higher end of the financial scale. Which is often what they have been approved for. If someone is only comfortable with $2,500 a month mortage, you should respect them. Living in the states, many people are homeless, even living in tents. Because they have over extended themselves, often someone told them they could afford what they really could not. Being  greatly blessed, we paid cash for our 3,700 sq ft home 10 years ago, and do not have a mortage. But it bothers me to see you possibly put property virgins into a possible foreclosure route. Everything else about your show i enjoy.

It would be a nice addition if you would also tell us how much the taxes are on the properties being bought.  Love your show and watch it as often as possible.
