Oh no! Only one entrant this month. When we asked you to share your creative storage solutions, you certainly weren't shy and we got some great feedback, but alas, only one photo made it into our inbox!
Despite that, it is truly a creative use of space, compliments of Style Sheet reader Janice M. Read all about it below.
Here's what Janice had to say: "I recently needed to enclose our basement stairwell, below the office. I decided that we needed canned goods storage, so I had the carpenter incorporate jar shelving in between the wall studs (2x8 studs, 16" on centre). I can fit 8 qt. jars on each shelf. It allows for a wall (very solid) and is ideal for walking down stairs, finding what I need or placing it there when the jars are empty. Makes counting jars pretty easy as well. I know it's not fancy, but it really works well. I am looking forward to filling it this summer."
Our own in-house blogger Elana, shares this pic of her little kitchen nook her and her husband tidied up with shelving: "We bought the house with this weird nook in our kitchen, possibly created by the walling-in of a pipe – the ridge to the right of the frame. Originally, there was cabinetry in there, but some of the doors couldn’t open properly and it looked completely awkward. We ripped them out and put in shelving that allowed for much more space and versatility."
Elana documented her whole kitchen makeover here.
Another seriously organized space is Aunt Bucky's design studio/warehouse (purveyor of adorable baby linens, apparel and decor). They were nice enough to share this photo on our Style Sheet flickr stream and we're showing it here with their permission. (See another super-organized view of their space)

Thanks to Janice, Elena and auntbucky.com for their great storage pics this month.
