Last Friday, I attended the Dirty Thirties-themed housewarming party at the Toronto Star Dream Gardens at the Toronto National Home Show. Party goers were encouraged to adorn themselves in their swankiest thirties garb and mix and mingle with CityLine experts and HGTV celebrity hosts Colin and Justin. The party was fun and laid back and the highlight of my evening was when I actually got to meet and chat with the Home Heist duo who were even more fabulous and endearing in person!
Swinging jazz sounds filled the Dream Gardens and '30s styled chorus girls provided entertainment for attending guests and celebrities. The Dream Gardens was the perfect venue for this party as the sheer beauty and serenity of the Dream Gardens provided a stunning backdrop for the evening.
The next day, I checked out the rest of the Home Show and the highlights of the show were definitely the Dream Home, the tySTYLE space inspired by Ty Pennington and designed by Adam Berkowitz of Equal Group Design and the HGTV "Little" Project Stage which featured presentations by celebrity hosts throughout the day. See my pictures from both days in the gallery below!
