Cheap Artwork Find: Love, Love, Love

Maybe it's because I'm a word nerd with a romantic streak, or maybe it's because I heart fonts. Whatever the reason, text-based poster art is enjoying an "It" moment in design and I'm feeling the love (no pun intended) for these affordable -- and, I have to say, adorable -- prints.

Las Vegas-based artist Jennifer Ramos' ABC Love print has been featured in design mags in Australia and the UK. The simplicity appeals to me, I could see this hanging in a bright and modern nursery. If it were mine, I'd put it in my tiny bathroom as a reminder that love, actually, is all around. (What can I say, I heart Love, Actually, too).

ABC Love print by Jennifer Ramos, $45 , $39 on sale now only at Etsy.com

I would purchase this sweet statement from UPPERCASE Gallery in Calgary for a pair of newlyweds. I love the tiny red heart detail, curlicue-y ampersand and clean font. There are other prints in the Love Letters Poster series, including Ever after and Happily.

To Have & To Hold poster, $45, UPPERCASE Gallery

I didn't like this particular print but I found another few that I liked. Everyone has their own taste i supose.  The letters are out of place like misplaced love or something.

Like this site though.

It reminds me of ART DECO..very chic...it would go well with japanese/oriental furniture..i can just see it with black laquered and glass furniture.  My husband would find it so erotic I think by our bedside.

No t my style..I tend to like folk art more...like barnyard prints, chicken coops, horse corrals...etc

Like Ms mays, I like the barnyard style prints but this one is quite catchy. Mordern sleek and has a certain eye appeal. I think it has a message. There are some lovely dog prints featured in the pooch dog art that I like.

Some might get a buzz from that art. Like someone else posted, I prefer animals..like my lovely pugsy pup and my old barnyard cat.

If you like pugs Bumblebee, check out the link above to Pooch dog Art. I  think you will be pleased with the pug print
