Peter Fallico: Before & After Bedroom Makeover

Putting his money where his mouth is, Home to Flip host Peter Fallico gives the inside scoop on how to find, buy, renovate and flip a house for profit.

Last week on Home to Flip, Peter transformed a dark and outdated bedroom into a bright and beautiful show piece:

I love the crispness of this room accented with punches of colour from the bed linen. The most striking of course, is the feature wall behind the bed. Instead of hiding an awkward pre-existing build-out in the wall, Peter extended the sides to be the exact width of a queen size bed. Painting horizontal stripes of varying thickness in white, baby blues and soft pea greens, Peter created a feature wall headboard.

On tonight's episode, Peter transforms the foyer and living room -- two spaces that are vital to winning over potential buyers as they first enter an open house. Tune in Thursdays 10pm et|pt.

Comments:

The striped painted, built out wall as a headboard is a fantastic idea. Cheerful and inexpensive.

bedroom is a bit minimalist dont you think could stand to have a better window treatment maybe

It lacks warmth and intimacy - feels cold and impersonal to me

LOVE Peter's simplistic stylings. Very inspirational. He adds enough so you can picture yourself in the room, yet not too much so it loses its sense of space.

I agree with Peggy - the room feels cold.  Curtains and a throw rug on either side of the bed would help a lot.

Shouldn't there be a window covering of some type?  Also I don't like the green color used on the bed but the same bedding using the baby blue in headboard or maybe a deeper blue would turn my crank.

i think the idea of  no covering on the window was to bring in as much light as possible for home buyers to see  i love the colors in this room i have watched the whole series on this house i would buy it in a minute

and peter love your new look but the hair is a bit long love your shows no matter what you are doing

I love Peter's style, how can I get in contact with the show?

February 4, 2009 2:02 PM

I love all of Peter's shows, think he would be willing to help with an entire house?

Would be great to get in contact with him.

He is a terrible host and designer.

Most of everything he does is temporary design.  Also, he needs  to waiving his hands around when talks.  Its distracting.

He does need a haircut and to stop giggling at everything she says when she talks.
