Frumpy Dining Room Gets Five-Star Treatment

I love how Samantha Pynn opted for a smaller dining table in this recent dining/living room makeover on Pure Design. It makes the room so much more cozy and elegant. But I especially love the mirrored door and the large, bright shade above the table!

What do you think of the rooms' five-star makeovers?

I am really enjoying Samantha Pinn's new show. I love her use what you have, recycle philosophy. That being said, I hate to say I am not crazy about this makeover. Maybe it is just not my style but I don't like the large pink light shade - I think it throws the balance off and isn't really a worthy focal point. I like how the table looks and I love the chairs but I could never have a table that only seated max four people. I really like how she works with what the client has though, and am looking forward to nore shows.

I love the shape of the lamp shade above the dining table but I wouldn't pick that colour for my home.  The rooms do look fabulous an the mirrored door is sensational!
