Cheap Artwork Find: Digital Collages

If you're looking for some inspiration to get you started on this month's Tackling Your Boring Walls Photo Challenge, this cheap artwork find has a fun DIY twist.

The piddix Etsy Shop won't sell you something you get in the mail; it sells digital collages. For $3US you'll get a high-quality image sent to your email that you can do just about anything with (read all about the copyright and what you can do with the images here). From pin-ups to postcards and animals to fairies, there are many amazing vintage images that would make great prints for just about any room.

Here are some of my favourites:

Clockwise from top left: Vintage Trees, Branches and Growth Rings Botanical Prints, Vintage Diva Love and Hate Labels, Eiffel Tower Vintage Postcards and French Stamps, Everyday Japanese Objects From the 1880s.

Any suggestion, once you get an image like, where to send it to in order to get like a print (on some sort of a canvass) big enough to put up on a wall?

Hi Louise--

Try a printing place in your area; you can probably get large-scale prints there. Try your local yellow pages or if there's a Kinkos in your area, that's probably a good place to start.

Hope this helps :)
