The High-Tech, High-Style Makeover

Last week on HGTV’s The Style Dept., designer and host Suzanne Dimma tackled the myth that you can’t have high-tech and high-style. The result: a once lifeless den transformed into a stylish entertainment space proving that there can be a beautiful union between the two.

Using neutral tones and classic fabrics Suzanne creates a sophisticated Men’s Club look. All high-tech clutter (wires, electronic devices, remotes, etc.) is hidden away inside a custom console. My favourite part of the space? The gallery-style wall of art that helps camouflage the flat screen TV.

If you love gallery-style art walls, check out Style Sheet's photo wall challenge: This month we want you to tackle your boring walls! Show us your fantastic art, pictures or whatever you've displayed proudly in your home.

Watch The Style Dept. Tuesdays at 8:30pm et, 10:30pm pt on HGTV.

Thanks for the inspiration.  This look is wonderful and shows how different sizes of frames and colours work well together.  Now I have to get started on my photo/art wall.
