Boo! Pumpkin Carving Ideas

Year after year the most popular section on HGTV.ca during the month of October is our pumpkin stencils page (seen below). For this Halloween, our designers created three additional spooky stencils: a skull, spider and owl.

We hope you enjoy them just as much as we enjoyed making them! If you happen to use any of our stencils this Halloween we would love to see how they turned out. Email your pumpkin picture(s) to stylesheet AT hgtv DOT ca. Alternatively, if you've got a flickr account, you can post your picture(s) directly to our Style Sheet photo group.

For more ideas, we've sifted through some websites and rounded up some unique pumpkin carving and decorating ideas. For your inspiration:

Thanks for the ideas! Tomorrow is pumpkin carving day at my sons' school and they are so excited. Both of them loved the skeleton.

Though the others are probably more creatively carved, the Pumpkin Tree gets my vote.    What an unique and whimsical idea!  I would love to see it/them  lit up.
