GUEST BLOGGER: Bathroom Design Trends

If you are planning a bathroom renovation, contemplate these trends before making a decision.

Spa Feeling
Above, left: The spa bathroom trend grows bigger than ever. We are talking about towel warming drawer, deep soaking tub, sauna and steam shower.

Above, right: A new bread of hot tub is born with Sorgente Bathtub by Teuco. You can keep it full to take a soak whenever you wish to. Who can resist the seamless look?

Uniting Bath and Bed
You can split the en-suite bathroom in three: a powder room, a cleaning room (shower and lavabo) and a tub area inside the master bedroom. At Hotel Vitale, see-through drapes surround the tub.

Eclectic Decor
It is fashionable to mix rectangular fixtures with classic design cabinets, a baroque mirror or a crystal chandelier.

New Materials
It is not just porcelain anymore. We see colored glass, cement, copper and wood fixtures. Corian Bas-Relief Surfaces adds flows and textures to the walls and the furniture. The motifs can look modern, organic, and even archeological.

Change of Colors
For a fresh and chic gender-neutral color combination, mix warm grey mixed with honey limestone. Use paints and bold wallpapers to inject red and orange in the bathroom

Take some clues from the chic zen urban bathroom designed by Jazucci. The space incorporates many trends.
