September 17, 2008 8:26 AM

Have tried to do a remodle with our huge bathroom, I would have liked a walk in closet , double sinks and a newer shower but my husband can't see the potential. He needs to see through  desiner eyes, like colin & justins.

Your'e lovely guys, but just what is so terribly wrong with pine? We live in a chalet in rural Canada (Buckhorn) and are surrounded by trees! I agree you can have too much, but a little wood never hurt anybody ;-)

Boys, there's a lady I know who lives in Edmonton who desperately needs you help. Her home is in a lovely area of the city, but due to ill-health her once lovely home is deteriorating. She has a good heart, and has helped many people, but now she's alone with her little dog. She's deserving of your generous and big-hearted attention.  Signed, A big Fan.

Bonjour Colin & Justin,

Come and discover our little village by the Saint-Laurence river in Pointe-Claire build in 1713.

We just bought our first home and we need a master bedroom makeover. WHY? Robert and I despertly need romance in our live. Since the past 2 years, I have won my battle with a severe *** Cancer while raising my 2 years-old daugther with my husband, Robert. Followed by an hysterectomy (ovarian cancer prevention surgery). I just came back home from another surgery (removal of a portion of my small intestine due to scare tissue). After a 8-days stay at the hospital, I'm back at home recovering. My daughter now 4 years-old is staying with my husband family in Toronto for 2 weeks. I'm 44 years-old. My husband and I have gone throught a rough 2 years (2 major surgeries & BC). We have not yet had a chance or the energy to bring back the romance in our lives! We are now healthy and alive living in paradise in our small village by the Saint-Laurence river. We need Colin and Justin to energize our new home with a master bedroom that will bring the magic from Martinique sunset and the sounds of volcanic rocks dancing by the sea shore! Your unique taste and expertise would give us a second wind to embrace our lives for years to come.  Merci, and see you soon in Montreal. Pascale, hugs and kisses

I love Colin & Justin and because I was born in England I feel an affinity with them. I am also one of those people who don't know how to use a digital camera and so need them to give me decorating details.  I have such a mish mash or design & an entry way that is so barren it looks like a desert!  Also this small town of Cranbrook BC woudl love them!!!

September 17, 2008 1:31 PM

I love these guys, I love their sense of humor, they are incredibly witty, and they have a real flare!!!

HGTV has some great decorating shows and it is great to see that Canadians now have the opportunity of having some of these great decorators show up at our door, to those who are lucky, I have been trying, hey but realistically we can't all be so fortunate, but we can all dream...

September 17, 2008 1:44 PM

My house is "perfect" in my mind, the view is wonderful, the neighbors are the best and I live 45 min. away from the 2010 Winter Olympics, in Whistler, B.C. in a small but growing town called Squamish. What more could anyone ask for, other than a visit from Colin and Justin for tea and a wee bit of Scottish shortbread?

September 17, 2008 2:43 PM

I love the show and how fabulously campy and fun you gentlemen are!

I have a bungalow that is desperately in need of designer assistance.  I do most of the stuff myself but I have reached a point where I need to have professional assistance and I am hoping that you will consider coming up to Ottawa to help me!!!

I think Colin and Justin are absolutely terrific.  I love their spirit and enthusiasm.  It would fabulous to meet them.  They make me laugh all the time.  As decorator's, I think if they saw my house, it would make their toes curl.  Way to go on all the great designs!

September 17, 2008 3:26 PM

I really enjoy Colin and Justin. I loved the series you did on the apartment complex in Scotland, very interesting. The only way I could see you improve the show is to give it to people who are in real need, because of circumstances beyond their control. I find that very enjoyable, that good people who have had a hard time because of illness, divorce, death etc. are given a boost. Thanks for the funj! Donna

September 17, 2008 3:50 PM

I would love to have Collin and Justin to come home.  I love what they can do to a home. Canadians need help decorating there homes.

I have followed Colin and Justin since there t.v. show where they purchased a home and ended up with the Million Pound Home. I have always enjoyed their wit and wonderful gift of putting beautiful homes together.  I would love to meet them, what a pleasure and honour.

September 17, 2008 6:45 PM

Love the makeovers that C&J do.  I may never have the chance to meet them but I am glad I can watch their shows.  Congrats on your wedding and keep up the good work.

September 17, 2008 7:12 PM

Love the makeovers that C&J do.  I may never meet them but at least I can watch them on TV.  I also love to watch the way they interact with Cheryl.  They seem to like the orb fireplace so maybe they should have some sent over from the UK.  Congrats on their wedding.  Ta ta for now boys.

September 17, 2008 7:17 PM

I've met these two "boy wonders" and I have to say that they are not just super talented but they're the most warmest, genuine and kindest guys! They're energy is simply "fab" and I am sure I will get the opportunity once again to see them and be inspired! By the way, how handsome are they in their kilts!!

September 17, 2008 10:28 PM

So I hear that my favourite design duo are in Victoria this weekend at the Home Builders Show!!!!  Like that is so awesome for us over here to have stars like them coming down! Never really happens I am buying my ticket and booking a place in line asthe blurb says theyare signing their new book.  I am sorry to say that myhusband and children will have to fend for themselves!  I have two Scotsmen to flirt harmlessly with and nothing will stop me.

Honestly, watching Justen and Colin is lik ethe best energy boost I can get. Between them and Mike Holmes there is no one else I like watching better.  I am planning on running off with them if I see them at the show.  If they sign my book I will frame it and let no one else touch it!  Winning this competition would be a dream come true. X

September 17, 2008 11:28 PM

Auch, aye laddies, your a couple of crackers!  I first became a huge fan watching you on my layovers in LHR.  I loved your Trading Up show and became your loyal fan forever after viewing every episode I could of How NOT To Decorate.  Thank you for gracing our shores, Home Heist is sensational!  Please come and work your magic in Burlington.  Vivian xo

September 18, 2008 12:16 AM

Loved the shows both in UK and Canada and have seen Colin and Justin twice in Vancouver, BC.  Just moved a couple of months ago to a new but very small condo rental in Port Moody.  I would love some help in creating an organized space out of all the clutter which we have collected and cannot find room for or replace with more appropriate items.  Sure would love to win this contest!

September 18, 2008 12:20 AM

I was warned never to ask for help from a home help show, because it causes soooo much disarray and upheaval in a person's home.  My home is in a small town on a beautiful river here in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.  Salmon fishing season has just ended here.  You could have fun with the locals fishing off our bridge in the evenings (that is if you and your crew like salmon. Do you charge the owners for your work or do the sponsors pick up the tab in trade for the advertising on your program?  I find the production side very interesting and the logistics of all the work that goes into producing a show.  Maybe you would be interested in showing me as you demolish and replace my space.  Cheers

September 18, 2008 12:39 AM

The only designers Id let in my house are Candice Olson or Justin and Collin.  Everyone elese is just not my scene.  Love the shows Justin and Collin do here in Canada and I loved How To Decorate Your Home which was wild!

Ok, so they do have a great show (and I love their transformations) but this level of dialogue is crazy! There are loads of other great shows too like Homes on Homes and Buy Me.  Let's not forget them as we all support this one.  Love also the show with the little dude with Michale Kaine glasses! All these shows are cool too,

Amazing Duo, I was never really interested in watching TV, but when I saw Justin and Ryan on HGTV, I was soooo excited. I never had any interest of meeting any celebraties from television, but, the two of you bring tears, joy and laughter, each time I watch your show. Such a huge sense of humour. You both have opened my eyes and heart to a new beginning. Something that has been locked inside for ages. I have decided it is time to make a change in my life and will be registering soon for a staging course. WISH ME LUCK. Luv you two, your the best of the best.

I have been watching you from across the pond and I was delighted when you came to Canada.  I hurried to Toronto to see the double bus but I missed you. Colin keeps me in stiches especiall when he will refer to certian colours are from the devil and he ask for devine intervention.  I have been praying for my friend who has a farm house to receive a make over becasue she is a Cancer survivor and her husband has helpped me and my family so much no wonder he has so litttle time to do the farm house is over 100 years old.  I could really see Coling and Just doing skits from the yard of flowers.  Keep up the laughs and beatiful make overs they keep me inspired. Born Again Bobbie

Hi guys, would love to see you come to Australia - i watch you on pay TV here in Australia and am fascinated by the results you achieve - I think Australia would be a challenge for you as our weather is very hot and sunny for a big portion of the year and this hugely influences what designs and colors we have in our homes - would love you to come

January 15, 2009 6:56 PM

Help!!! I am living in my deceased  in-laws house that is literally un-changed since 1972 when they built it. I mean the paint on the wall''s, the carpet, draperies, kitchen  floor, right down to the olive green toilet and sink are exactly the same as they have always been. I do not have a decorating bone in my body and my daughter in-law just laughs every time I attempt any thing. I did one room in a theme with my favorite bird (the rooster) and even it has gotten out of hand. Come heist my house in Sutton by Lake Simcoe, On.

I love that you will heist in Canada!!!!   Your show is fabulous and showcases your talent. I think I have done a good job in our livingroom/diningroom and kitchen, however the hardwood stops in the hallway and our bedroom and bathroom are sitting in dire straights waiting for some type of action. Unfortunately I haven't a clue how to decorate them. They need to accomadate our familys needs but also look stylish and match the rest of the decor. I'm stuck. Please help pluck me from the adversity that is my decor dilema. Please come to Woodstock.

                                                                  D'Arcy, Woodstock, ON

March 4, 2009 4:29 PM

Canada is a better place, and stylin, thanks to you two. The generalization that gay guys are artistic and have a flare for decor stopped when it hit our house-please pop by and help us get into the 20th century! You look FAB on fab too!
