Cheap Artwork Find: Pooch Dog Art

Who doesn't love affordable artwork? Though it does come with a down side as it's usually been massed produced, decorating the walls of countless homes everywhere. Case in point is IKEA's much loved canvas print of Audrey Hepburn.

For those looking for a cheap(er) alternative to add a little sparkle to your walls, Style Sheet is launching a new monthly feature dedicated to finding you affordable artwork options while keeping an eye out for uniqueness and style. Though our finds may not be true one-of-a-kinds — you'll have to pay the big bucks for that — chances are you'll not find these on your neighbours' walls!

First up for this inaugural post is John W. Golden's Pooch Dog Art.

My friend and colleague — now on maternity leave — found these adorable puppy prints on John W. Golden's Etsy Store with her nursery in mind. Framed in basic IKEA frames they're my favourite part of the entire room.

My what a beautiful nursery... and I can honestly say that it's even prettier now that the baby has moved in!

The pooch-prints are my favourite feature too (right after the baby, of course.). In fact, my husband had to hold me back from buying the entire series. If he hadn't, I'd have covered her walls in dog prints. And he's right, it might have been a bit much, but at the very least I need to add the British Bulldog and the Black Pug to my collection. They weren't available when I bought mine.

P.S. These make excellent baby shower gifts for dog-lovers! I gave my BFF one for her nursery and she went on to buy three more.

I always thought dog art work was meant for mud rooms and finished laundry rooms. Thats where I've seen it around anyway.

But surprisingly enough they look amazing in this nursery! Very cute!
