GUEST BLOGGER: Three Desk Chairs; Three Styles

With students heading back to school and many people setting up their home office, I compiled a list of desk chairs that will harmonize well in your home décor.
When you shop for a desk chair, do not underestimate comfort if you plan to be seated for long periods of time. Look for a chair with a good back support. Try it in your working position.

The B2C Peanut Office Chair at EQ3 shares the curves of classic molded plywood modern chairs at a fraction of the price. The seat height is adjustable. The armrests are removable but it is best that you keep them on.

If you prefer the vintage schoolhouse design, go for the Swivel Desk Chair at Pottery Barn.  For a contemporary or a cottage mood, opt for the white painted chair. The espresso stain and mahogany stain feel old-fashioned while the black brings a masculine touch.

Available in wood, leather and colored fabrics at DWR, the Egoa Task Chair comes with an ingenious hinge system that allows the seat and back to follow your body movement.

With so many models on the market, you should be able to unite function and style in your budget.

Oooh - the Peanut chair looks perfect for my studio!

Beauty and functionality in one chair are hard to find.

Interesting that the swivel desk chair is available without arm rests (yes, I know, better with).  Would love to find something that combines design and eco-friendly materials.
