Extraordinary Oven

Electrolux Dual-Fuel Freestanding Range I used to think fridges with water and ice dispensers were high-tech, but Electrolux's latest line of premium kitchen appliances has taken it up several notches. The launch lunch for the Swedish company's new kitchen line was hosted by none other than HGTV's Designer Guys (who are just as good looking in person) and was attended by the likes of Ex-MuchMusic VJ Erica Ehm and food writer Jacob Richler.

Among all the shiny sleek appliances on display, the one that caught my eye was the Electrolux Perfect Pair Oven. It's essentially two ovens in one, which means you can cook two dishes at different temperatures at the same time. Its Wave-Touch Controls give you access to more than 60 functions at a touch of a button. The controls also disappear at a touch of a button for an elegant, clean display panel. There's also a Perfect Turkey Button for stress-free holiday cooking! And did I mention the Sabbath Mode for keeping with kosher cooking practices? The only thing it doesn't do is clean up after your guests.

Mind you all this high-tech doesn't come cheap. The Electrolux Dual-Fuel Freestanding Range retails for $2,500 (for black/white) and $2,700 (for stainless) and is available at select The Bay, Sears, The Brick and Leon's stores.
