Bright Lights, Small City Living

Paris is one of the most sought-after residences in the world, and yet it is only 105 square kilometres. There are only so many rentals going around in those 20 arrondissments, so anything from former maid's chambers to excavated attics can become a dwelling. As such, Parisians are experts in maximizing space with the use of loft beds, mirrors, white-washed walls and multifunctioning furniture. See below for some examples that showcase small space living--Parisian style.

Super stylish if a bit cramped. I think I'm too claustrophobic (and poor) to live in Paris.

I think pure white walls is cold, but an off white or a very light beige or gray would be nice... I really like the livingroom on the bottom left, that's very Paris to me for some reason and a sort of shabby chic style.
