Lookie here! Look at what I found in my inbox: DIY garden photos from one of you, our dear, cherished readers! There is nothing -- I really mean nothing -- we here at HGTV.ca like better than receiving photos boasting of your latest craft, decor project or DIY. Why? Because we're obsessed! And because we know we can't possibly think of everything...

“I was reading on the website, that you are looking for new ideas for gardens, balconies and patios: I'm attaching a couple of photos I took this week after my husband and I completed a huge project in our new townhouse. We moved to this house last October and there were no flowerbeds in either the front or back yards. All that was here was a bare deck platform.
In the front yard, I designed and created two new flowerbeds flanking the front entrance of our townhouse. In the back yard, my husband built a fence along one side of the deck and around the one corner.
Also, we were looking for a way to provide some additional privacy on our fence between us, our neighbour, and their two young children. The results are spectacular, if I do say so myself! The deck fence makes the deck look much friendlier and cozier and the new wall panels built from lattice are amazing.
I would love any feedback on our new creations; new fence/wall panels.
