Happy New Year's Eve Eve! Continuing with our round up theme from Wednesday's top three hot topics of the year post, I bring you, without further ado, the top 10 posts of 2011. These are the posts that got you clicking, commenting and, not surprisingly, dreaming about gorgeous interiors.

Home tours are our most popular feature -- you'll see a theme with these top 10 posts! Jenny and Marc gutted an old Victorian and made it their own. At only 12 feet wide, it was a bit of a challenge to keep the space feeling bright and open, but they were super-successful, don't you think?

family friendly home, custom built in 1956, has incredible
MidMod appeal and is a true example of the Post and Beam
style which was popular in the
Canadian Pacific during the 1950s. The gorgeous exposed cedar and fir beams create a cozy, treehouse feel without feeling heavy or dark. Having a lot of natural light helps, too!
7. Two Eras Collide in a Dramatic Victorian Reno
This incredible home belongs to philanthropist Victoria Jackman and architect Bruce Kuwubara. Filled with art, iconic furniture and natural light, it was a labour of
love that prompted the couple to transform their Toronto home into a mash-up of the original Victorian era (architecture) and modern (aesthetic).
6. The Toronto Oasis of Roots Founder Michael Budman and Diane Bald
This home is uber-magnificent and yet still warm and inviting -- quite the feat when you're dealing with an 8,000 square foot Georgian revival built on eight lots! A mix of Old Hollywood glamour, MidMod class and Parisian elegance (with a few Roots Home pieces throw in, natch), the home is over 75-years old, but still feels modern and classic.
5. Colour Inspiration: A Country Bathroom from Sarah's House
Colour Inspiration is a new feature this year, but one that proved popular with everyone. Basically, we take lovely rooms designed by our hosts and pull out the colour palette along with suggestions of how to get the look in your own home. This yellow and grey bathroom is from season 3, the farmhouse season of Sarah's House and it was a big hit with us as well as all Sarah's fans.
4. Mike and Sami's Modern/Vintage Townhouse Mix, Vancouver
One of my personal favourite home tours of the year, this charming townhouse perfectly captures that ideal mix of found pieces that become charged with personal meaning and modern furniture and art.

2. Mandy and Chris Make Over a Heritage Home, Vancouver
This 1920s home underwent an extensive renovation by owners Mandy and Chris, but it was all worth it, wouldn't you say? The natural light, gorgeous floors and charming mix of yes, modern and vintage, made this home our second most popular post and home tour of the year.
1. Georgian-Inspired Designer Family Home, Ottawa
You shouldn't be surprised that the #1 post is a home tour, and what a home! Designer Irene Langlois gave this newly built home personality, charm and true style, which as Sarah Richardson can tell you after season 4 of Sarah's House, can be a challenge when you're dealing with a brand new home. Langlois paired a neutral palette with elegant, classic design to create a space that is warm, stylish and above all, comfortable.
