It’s 6:15 am and the clock has just started chiming its soul-cringing alarm. It’s still dark, it’s -20 degrees Celsius outside, and the last thing anyone wants to do is get out of bed and go to work. Well, thanks to a genius Japanese laptop accessory, working from home is no longer our early morning fantasy, working from bed is.
Japanese gadget design company Thanko has created a laptop desk that allows users to tip-tap away on their keyboards while still tucked cozily in bed. The Super Gorone Desk (approximately $150) fits most laptops and comes with a little USB-powered fan to keep the computer cool.
Super adjustable, this portable desk can be used to write code while lying in bed, as a place to put a delicious snack of popcorn and coffee while browsing your favourite cat magazines on the floor, or writing the Great Japanese Novel on your repurposed airport lounge chair couch.
However you decide to use it, anything that allows us to stay in bed just a little bit longer is a big win in our books.
