Sarah 101 Video Exclusive: Tommy Smythe on How to Avoid the "Condo Showroom" Look

Oh we're eating it up!  Sarah 101 that is. Can you blame us???  More how-to design with our fave duo is twist-our-rubber-arm material, and don't think we didn't get right on bothering them when the show was just filming!  Alicia and I paid a visit to the taping of one of the episodes, one involving a condo, and had us a nice, long chat with Sarah and Tommy.

Here is Part 1 of our chat with Tommy. You get a glimpse of the episode in question, but not to worry, we don't give too much away!  If anything, I'm sure it'll tantalize you to keep your eyes peeled for this episodes' moment on the screen. Love the new Sarah Show!  Did anyone notice that the oversized flower fabric for the first episode of  Sarah 101 looked exactly like the fabric used in the bedroom of the farmhouse!  Seems to me Sarah can't get enough of that fabric.  Thanks Sarah, when I got some cushions for my new sofa I tried a somewhat similar fabric and I love it.  Fresh!

Love Tommy!  Great interview, I've been contemplating a B&W scheme for my master bedroom and it's very interesting to see Sarah's take on it.  The warm wood tones really do bring the room to life.

I love the new show, Sarah and Tommy are the best. I just wish they would come to my home and finish the decorating in my home.

Love Sarah and Tommy. They inspire! Love their approach this season with answering all of our how to do questions.

I love Tommy and Sarah but I'm not a fan of this show so far. Seems rushed and the rooms are overdecorated. I could never live in them.

I was not a fan of the first show Sarah did - found it to flowery patterns on chairs etc. - but I still am a huge fan of her style & design otherwise. Loved the kitchen on the second show I viewed - Very different & oh so pleasing to the eye. Hoping that this show "Sarah 101"will list the shops & places where she gets her different finds & especially where she has her sprayed furniture etc. done.

As much as I still love Sarah and Tommy, Sarah 101 pales in comparison to Sarah's House. I like to see entire houses from start to finish! Go back to renovating, anitque sourcing, and budget busting designs! That's inspiration! I'd love to see another one soon. Loved the farmhouse
