Makeover: A Basement I'd Actually Live In

The team on Income Property does some pretty amazing things with basements. That Scott McGillivray is not only one of HGTV's hotties, he's one talented host. This decrepit basement became an income suite for couple Allison and Rob who were in need of some extra cash. Scott turned the kitchen above into what I wish my own kitchen looked like (the tile is great) and made a cozy media room out of this neither here nor there living room space. The finished suite feels modern and very livable, like a cute condo with very high windows.
